The wait is finally over as Paramount has announced the release date for A Quiet Place 2. Now, the film will hit the big screen on May 15, 2020.
The project is still in its initial phase of development and the producer is not rushing into anything. Andrew is certainly waiting for a good plot. Also, he has confirmed the return of John Krasinski. However, the role is unclear as of now.
At the beginning of this year, the announcement was made regarding the release of this film. The first edition was highly appreciated by the audience. It was a small budget movie produced in only $17 Million and turned out to be a box-office hit.
CEO of Paramount, Jim Gianopulos, made the announcement at ComicCon while saying:
“If you told me five years ago that an almost silent film starring the very funny guy Jim from The Office would have been a hit at Paramount, I would have said, ‘Well, I should go work at Paramount’.”
Krasinski revealed more information about the forthcoming sequel, saying:
“It’s only a short while since the movie came out. But already people are saying, ‘We want to live in this world more,’ which is really interesting. I’m surprised people aren’t like, ‘Nah, we know what this is, and we just want to leave it as it is.'”
