The upcoming streaming service of Walt Disney will be known as Disney+. It will launch in late 2019 in the United States of America. Disney Chairman and CEO Bob Iger announced it today in a live audio podcast of Disney.
Also, he revealed that Lucasfilm is developing a second edition of the Star Wars live-action series for this new platform. It will go into production in the forthcoming year. The primary focus of the series will be on the journey of Rebel spy Cassian Andor prior to the events of Rogue One: A Star Wars Story. Diego Luna will play the role of Cassian Andor.
Furthermore, Disney+ is set to release a live-action film on the fan favorite from Marvel Cinematic Universe, Loki. The god of mischief, Loki's character will be played by one and only Tom Hiddleston. However, there are hardly any huge updates regarding the number of episodes and the plot.
