The festive season is upon us and people are gathering together to prepare themselves for 25th December. Everyone has their own idea on when 'Christmas' begins. However, people are divided on a single issue, ie., music.

In actual, some Christmas songs are better than other songs but the recent medical study shows that Christmas songs and music may have a negative impact on our mental health.

A clinical psychologist, Linda Blair, says that listening to the festive jingles, again and again, don't bring any joy to our life. Moreover, it can bring a negative effect on our lives

According to Linda, people who work in shops during the Christmas season, have to listen to the music whole time. So, they have to focus on doing their work while listening to these sounds. Most of their energy is utilised in concentrating on their job and ignoring the music.
